Teen Titans was a cartoon from the early 2000s I remember watching and liking but couldn't remember much of. Well, for some reason, my son loves Robin (I'm trying to raise him right I swear) so I decided to give it a shot during his wind-down time. And frankly, it holds up.

Metallica's new album 72 Seasons comes out this year and they are my life-long favorite band. They've had ups and downs, more masterpieces than material I haven't enjoyed, but let's get into my thoughts for a group of 60 year olds new material over 40 years deep into their career. It's not hate, but fans should be honest with the artists they are fans of.

Frank Miller is an amazing writer, one of my favorites. The Dark Knight Returns is considered a masterpiece of comic writing and essential to the Batman mythos. But, is it really? No, seriously...give it a look without nostalgia glasses and you'll see it has some serious issues and definitely negatively influenced superhero comics in some ways.

The indie scene continues it's inexorable march forward with new and fresh ideas, this time in the form of the long awaited crossover between Black Hops, Soulfinder, and Kamen America. Truth be told, it's execution was not the crossover hVk expected, but it was certainly far from bad.
